Every year it is gaining more and more followers and probably its popularity was influenced by the successes of our champion Justyna Kowalczyk. All the more gratifying is the fact that ourand the best cross-country skier in 2004 and 2005 stood on the route of the John Paul II Podhale Run organized by the city of Nowy Targ. Appreciating its attractive location, every year the city prepares for lovers of this form of skiing cross-country trails leading through extremely picturesque areas located around the Reserve Bor na Czerwonem, with a beautiful panorama of the snowy Gorce and Tatra Mountains. The length of the cross-country skiing trails, depending on the snow cover, reaches 15 km, prepared and maintained by a ratrak equipped with a track marking device.
