    In the nature reserve "Bor na Czerwonem" near the Nowy Targ sports airfield, there is a nature and education path topped by a viewing platform from which theThere is a view of the Tatra Mountains, the Gorce Mountains and the picturesque peat bog. The educational path in the Reserve "Bor na Czerwonem" allows you to learn about the unique high peat bog and the animals and plants living there. The 610-meter-long path can be visited on foot or by bicycle in about one hour. The trail is made available free of charge to all visitors to the "Bor na Czerwonem" Reserve. Part of the trail is led on wooden bridges. For visitors were prepared, special folders with a description of the path and seven educational boards with all the important natural information about the area. A special attraction is the viewing terrace on the dome of the peat bog, with the possibility for disabled visitors. The path allows visitors to become acquainted with the largest and oldest monument of living nature on the territory of the New Targ Forest District, which is the high peat bog. Along the way, participants of the tour can get acquainted with the specific vegetation, most of the occurring plants are classified as rare, vanishing and protected species such as: peat bogs, round-leaved sundew, bog cranberry, wood pine. In the vicinity of the bog you can meet: newts: crested, common, mountain and Carpathian newts, as well as the characteristic black with yellow spots spotted salamander. A white stork breeds near the bog, and a black stork breeds in the forest near the reserve. A golden eagle and other raptors often circle above the bog.
