The tower was built through the efforts of the Slupiec section of the GGV - Klodzko Mountain Association; German. Glatzer Gebirgsverein. In 1889, a mini tower with a height of 2.8 meters was built. Mount WThe St. Saints' Church was a major tourist attraction, so some 20 years later the GGV section proposed building a new taller tower, and on June 12, 1913 the cornerstone was laid for its construction and shortly thereafter a 15-meter-high observation gallery topped by a viewing gallery was put into service. The tower rises 648 meters above sea level and is built of red sandstone. It underwent a major renovation in 2011. From the stone observation tower topped with a gallery one can admire beautiful panoramas of the Eastern and Central Sudetes.
