in winter it's colder here than anywhere else, but it's worth a walk :) entrance paid probably only from April to October....
29.08.2013The Museum in Nieborów and Arkadia was established in 1945. It includes the Radziwill Palace with its garden in Nieborów and the Romantic Garden of Helena Radziwill in Arkadia.The palace now houses a museum of the interiors of the palace residence from the 17th-19th centuries, based on the surviving furnishings of the palace and its collections, supplemented by objects of art and artistic craftsmanship from the collection of the National Museum in Warsaw. The palace and the regular (French) garden in Nieborów and the sentimental-romantic (English) garden in Arkadia, after restoration and cleaning, were opened to the public as a stylish palace-garden residential complex. Simultaneously with the launch of the museum of interiors in Nieborów, a Creative Work Center was established on its premises in 1945, placed in usable rooms on the second floor of the palace and in the Hunting Pavilion, intended for academics and artists. The Nieborów center also serves as a venue for international conferences and diplomatic meetings.
