The municipality of Mrocza is a picturesque area located on the Krajeńska Plateau, in the western part of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian province. The area of the municipality is part of the Nakiel county.o. The town of Mrocza has a population of more than 4300, and the entire municipality more than 9300. Rich in beautiful landscapes, the area abounds in lakes, there are as many as 21 of them. In addition, part of our municipality, due to particularly valuable natural values, exceptional diversity and aesthetic qualities of the landscape, is part of the Krajeńskie Landscape Park. "Wieleckie Lake" (in the village of Wiele) is an area of a water bird sanctuary, occupying 102.76 hectares and abounding in more than 140 species of birds, including those rare in the country and Europe. This year, work began on the construction of a building in Wiele, which will be used as ornithological facilities to facilitate bird watching for those interested. In June of this year, the cornerstone was also laid for the construction of a Scout Water Station in Rościmin. There are excellent conditions for water sports on the "Rościminskie Maly" lake, and this complex, which is being built with great support from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Scouting and Guiding Association (ZHP), is to enable people to spend their free time in this way. Ultimately, Stanica is also to be a base camp stop for scout camps, and will be equipped with professional lifesaving equipment, sailing boats, rowboats and canoes. This investment will certainly contribute to the popularization of active lifestyles and the promotion of sightseeing and tourism values. There are already many existing places worth seeing in the Mrocza municipality. Certainly one of them is the Mrotec market- built up with tenement houses from the late 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries that are a beautiful decoration of the small heart of the town. The town itself also has a park named after King Wladyslaw Jagiello, named after the ruler who granted the town its municipal rights in 1393. It was in fact 2013 that the Jubilee Year was adopted. This year marked 620 years since the city received its charter. The culmination of the city's celebration of this birthday took place on August 17 and 18, during the annual Days of Mrocza. The area of the socio-districts included in the municipality also abounds in many interesting objects, including -Orzelski Młyn- a village in the socio-district of Kazmierzewo, where there is a historic wooden watermill from the 18th century. - Orle- a village in the Witoslaw village, where a church was built in the 15th century, which was later rebuilt many times after war passages. One of the most significant reconstructions of the church took place in 1873. In addition, there are farm complexes or their remains in many villages in the municipality. It is interesting to note that from Mrocza comes, in Mrocza trains and also lives here Adrian Zielinski - gold medalist of the London 2012 Olympic Games in weightlifting. Adrian trains in the local Municipal-Municipal People's Sports Club Tarpan Mrocza, which despite the short history of the weightlifting section has already achieved a lot, both in the club and individual classification. The Mrocza municipality also promotes its values through the increasingly fashionable in Poland active form of leisure activities, which is geocaching. This is a tourist game that involves exploring interesting places in a given area by finding special "boxes", following the GPS indication and later registering the found point on a website. Enjoy an unforgettable weekend in the municipality of Mrocza.
