At the Knap Vineyard, guests are treated to a tasting of wines that are unique in many respects, whose flavor and aroma is due to the vines grown on their own. This place is a quietA haven for people who want to stop for a while and be close to nature. Visitors will have the opportunity not only to taste, tour and relax in the vineyard, but also to purchase wines. The Knap vineyard is located in Krzczonowice, in the Ćmielów municipality, home to a porcelain factory and the famous Living Porcelain Museum. It is located on an acreage of 1.2 hectares. It is adjacent to an orchard, which is mainly made up of mature cherry trees, however, other fruits such as apricots, cherries, peaches and apples can also be found there. Next to the vines climbing towards the stars, a golden strip of grain stretches to the borders of the plot. Within the orchard are beehives, whose industrious residents make sure that every plant on the property blooms on time. On this occasion they bestow golden honey. The whole estate, along with the vineyard, is situated on a hill that was of interest to archaeologists when they conducted excavations there in 2006 and 2007, finding traces left here from the Stone Age and Iron Age. At the time, objects were found that outline the distant history of the land where grape vines now grow. This adds to the unique character of the place. The Knap vineyard has been developed with French, German and American varietals. These varieties include Marechal Foch, Swenson Red, Aurora, Leon Millot, Hibernal, Solaris, Seyval Blanc and La Crescent. The chosen production path involves the use of a single varietal to produce a single type of wine, although we also have a wine on offer that is a blend of several grape varieties. The approach adopted is determined by the desire to maximize the full potential of each variety growing on our land. In the future, the owners plan to expand the vineyard's resources by adding more grape varieties and producing new wines. Despite the planned changes, the goal that guided them in establishing the Knap Vineyard will still remain the same - to create a place where fruit transforms into wine, after tasting which it is impossible not to be delighted.
