Biokovo Nature Park is the most dominant presence on the southern Dalmatian coast. It is one of Croatia's most popular destinations for hikers many olive groves, vineyards and pine forests. There are also interesting lookout points which offer a magnificent view like Staza, Ravna vlaska, Strbina, Vosac and Sv.Jure at the top of Biokovo, with a small chapel. The park can be used for individual or organized hiking with many roads and trails. The vegetation is very interesting, it is an apparent mixture of different floral elements. The fauna of Biokovo is distinctive, unfortunately, still insufficiently explored.
