In Nowy Czarnów near Gryfino, nature monument enthusiasts can admire an unusual piece of forest. Among the traditionally growing trees, there is a hundred pine trees thatch trunk is bent at a 90-degree angle. They are relatively low. They were probably planted in the early 20th century. Then - about ten years later - they were damaged mechanically. Such practices are intended to grow special trees for building boats or furniture. However, they have not been cut down and have become a tourist attraction known as the "Crooked Forest".
