Feedback

  • Made available to the public since June 2014, the Hortulus Spectabilis Gardens, is an author's project, implemented since 2003, of a complex of gardens of different styles, in the premise of theintended to serve as an original rest and recreation area, the only one of its kind in Poland. Its centerpiece is the world's largest hornbeam labyrinth, which was created from 18,000 saplings of this tree. The labyrinth covers an area of 1 hectare, has walls 2 meters high, and the total length of its corridors is more than 3.2 kilometers. Walking through the labyrinth on one of three tours guarantees great fun. At its heart is a 20-meter-high observation tower, whose original construction was realized on the model of a double strand of DNA. From the terrace of the tower you can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding villages, in good weather the sea, but most of all the surrounding labyrinth Gardens of Magic, Energy, Time and Space. This is a complex of gardens of about 6 hectares, where you will find: a magic stone circle, "4 seasons" gardens, a clock garden, a "Celtic calendar" garden, giving inspiration to think about the passing of time, and English perennial beds pleasing the eye with colors and architectural elements, a rosarium with boxwood parterres, as well as knot gardens and boxwood topiary. The Hortulus Spectabilis gardens are not only carefully tended plant compositions and sophisticated and originally incorporated elements of architecture and garden art, but also an excellent place for fun, recreation and leisure for families with children, where it is possible to move around with baby carriages, wheelchairs. A birch forest invites you to relax in armchairs and hammocks. More information about Hortulus Spectabilis Gardens can be found on the website and on the Facebook profile of Hortulus Spectabilis Gardens.
