The Church of the Ascension of the Lord in Ulucz is located on Debnik Hill on the San River. According to tradition, it was built in the years 1510-1517 and until recently was considered the oldesthe largest wooden Orthodox church in Poland. Dendrological research has shown that the Orthodox church was built in 1659 from wood cut down a year earlier. Thus, the oldest are considered to be the Orthodox churches in Radruż and Gorajec<wikipedia> From myself I would only add that the church is hidden on a hill among the trees. It is not visible "from the road" due to which many people passing through Ulucz do not know of its existence. To see this place we have to climb the forest slope about 300 meters, and then our eyes will see a climatic place full of charm. Around the Orthodox church you can see a cemetery already bitten by the tooth of time.
