The Wickerwork Center pursues such goals as taking care of theThe 140-year tradition of wickerwork craftsmanship in the region and the promotion of Rudnik nad Sanem as the Polish Wicker Capital. The rich history of the region is illustrated by permanent ethnographic and historical exhibitions. There are also exhibitions of functional and artistic wickerwork, presentations of weaving craftsmanship, workshops and open-air artistic wickerwork and wicker fashion shows. The center has its own library, as well as a conference room-modernly equipped-and a painting gallery. The center is the winner of the first edition of the competition "Poland Beautifully 7 Wonders of the EU Funds", a facility awarded the title of "The Best Tourist Product of Podkarpacie 2010", as well as "Best Polish Tourist Destinations - EDEN 2011". Visitors here are captivated by the diversity, modernity and ever-changing exhibition offer. Here on the exhibits you can sit, touch, take a souvenir photo. The Wickerwork Center will comprehensively protect the cultural heritage of our region and promote wickerwork products as a local product of the Rudnik wickerwork basin. In Rudnik nad Sanem you can see: - the manor-palace complex of the Counts of Tarnowski from the 19th-20th century - the building of the mill and power plant (now the groat plant) - the building of the former forestry from the end of the 18th century - the war cemetery from World War I - the church of st. Holy Trinity Church from 1927-1928 - Baroque statue of St. John Nepomucen - memorial plaque to Lt.Tadeusz Socha - memorial boulder and chapel of St. Hubert in Borowin - monument to victims of Gestapo, PPR and UB - monument to Count Ferdinand Hompesch - monument to insurgents.
