The Pawłowice municipality is a rural municipality located in the southern part of Upper Silesia in the Pszczyna district. To the north is the Żorski district, to the south - the Cieszyn district, and to the west - the Jastrzębski district. The municipality consists of seven villages: Golasowice, Jarząbkowice, Krzyżowice, Pawłowice, Pielgrzymowice, Pniówek and Warszowice. Communal areas abound in forests and farm ponds, which are a characteristic element of the communal landscape. The oldest were established in the 16th century, when carp farming began in the area. Supporters of active recreation can take advantage of 70 km of bicycle paths. Traversing them we will see not only beautiful landscapes but also numerous monuments.
