Feedback

  • The core of the Natural History Museum consists of 5 exhibition halls. Permanent exhibitions present the beauty and uniqueness of the Park's nature, the richness of the fauna and flora (among others, the pt.actwo of the Reverse Delta of the Swina River with the largest collection in Polish museums of male ruffians in their mating coat, forest mammals representative of Wolin's fauna, as well as animals of the Park's aquatic ecosystems), the geological structure of the island and Baltic amber. The exhibition "Nature of the Wolin National Park" includes realistic dioramas, depicting animals in their natural habitats. A large part of the exhibition space is devoted to nature photography, sculpture and painting. The works of art blend in very well with the nature exhibit, complementing it perfectly. The idea is to combine and enrich the naturalistic aspects of the exhibition with works of art - the product of human hands. At the museum's ticket office you can buy numerous tourist publications: folders, guidebooks, postcards, maps. Next to the museum is a permanent exhibition of a pair of live bald eagles (symbol of the Wolin National Park).
