I heartily recommend a visit to the Goth village in Maslomecz. Of course, let no one be misled by the general image of the current "Goths", that is, dressed in black and heavily paintedn people fond of medieval times and fantasy. The real Goths are an ancient nomadic people who wandered the world looking for a suitable place to create a settlement. In the created village we can see a weaving workshop together with hand-dyed linen thread, listen to stories about warriors, the fate of women and children, learn the secrets of crafts and glassware, which the Goths often acquired for their homes, see in what conditions they lived, what they ate and more. The guiding staff at the site themselves learn how to make everything from textiles to weapons, armaments and clay bowls with the techniques used by the Goth people who lived centuries ago. Besides, I recommend coming to the Goths' festival, where you can see the original costumes, shoot a bow, fight with swords, or learn how to make stocks, linen cloth, mint coins and more.
