WAR CEMETERY from WWI and WWII on Cicha Street - Entered in the register of immovable monuments of the Podkarpackie province in 2011 under register number A-591.The cemetery is located in the eastern part of the city, the so-called Zelichovka, on a slight hill. The area is established on a regular rectangular plan, fenced with a metal mesh. It consists of two main parts separated by a wide main alley. The western part is occupied by a WWI war cemetery. It is formed by 10, mass earthen graves, in which soldiers of different nationalities, fallen in battles in 1814-1918 and who died in the local lazarette, are buried. The eastern part is occupied by an epidemic cemetery with more than a dozen stone tombstones of those who died of cholera in 1914-1918 and an old stone cross dating to the turn of the 17th/18th century, moved here from an unpreserved grave mound on Orzeszkowa Street. In addition to these, in the northern part of the necropolis are located graves with memorial plaques of soldiers killed during World War II: Polish soldiers commanded by Jozef Kustron, killed in 1939; soldiers of the Soviet Army killed in battles with the Ukrainian Insurgent Army . In addition, located here is a monument to the aviators of the 31st reconnaissance squadron of the Army of ,,Carpathian". The cemetery has great historical values and spatial and aesthetic values. It is a burial place for soldiers of different nationalities from the period of World War I and World War II, with the original layout of the soldiers' graves from World War I preserved. On the epidemic part, a dozen stone tombstones, coming from Brusno stone workshops, with a unified character, have been preserved. Among them, an old cross from the turn of the 17th/18th century deserves special attention. These considerations make the entire necropolis worthy of conservation protection.
