Orientarium Łódź

Orientarium in Lodz is located at 8/10 Konstantynowska St. The facility was opened to the public on 29.04.2022. It is one of the largest complexes dedicated to the preservation of disappearing species of these regions in Europe. The animals and vegetation in the park are from Southeast Asia. Among the fauna of the Orientarium you can see unique species such as orangutans, monkeys, tapirs and elephants. The park also hosts show feedings, which are an unusual attraction - especially for children. Various interesting events are also held at the Orientarium pavilion in Lodz. Also unique is the aquarium, where there are many exotic species of fish and a stingray. Passing through a specially prepared tunnel, you can almost feel like diving with a cylinder in the ocean! Orientarium in Lodz is an attraction open all year round. The zoo in Lodz is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., every weekday. The Orientarium closes half an hour earlier (5:30 pm). Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office until 5 p.m. The price of entry to the Orientarium is 70 zlotys, and 40 zlotys for those who have a Lodz Citizen Card. It is possible to purchase a family ticket in several versions at a lower price. An interesting fact is that the animal enclosures and cages occupy an area equal to as many as ten football fields. The large space and diverse environment provided by Orientarium Zoo Lodz makes it possible to observe animals among their native flora in the facility. The first resident of the Orientarium was the Indian elephant Alexander, brought to Poland from the German zoo in Munster. The complex has the largest elephant enclosure in Europe.
