Feedback

  • The building was designed by Viennese architect Karl Seidl. The façade is dominated by Neo-Renaissance elements, but one can also see some admixtures of the Neo-Renaissance styleński. The building is faced with white sandstone, and the first floor is decorated with rustication. The façade is distinguished by a trapezoidal bay with a balcony on its roof and Romanesque-style windows: one triforium and two biforia. In turn, on the facade from Kosciuszko Street there is an elegant loggia, from which a staircase leads to the garden. The palace's interiors do not harmonize with its exterior. They are maintained in the spirit of post-Secession modernism. Beautiful is the two-story lobby and the arcaded gallery above it.
