29.08.2013Do you like unusual places? Are you bored with conventional museums? This amazing, unique place is just right for you! Museum of the Canal "inner tube" located in Lodz.under Liberty Square, which was built in 2008, shows a previously unknown face of the city, namely what its underground hides. One enters the canal through a historic oval rainwater tank. The length of the canal itself is 142 meters, the width is about 1.5 meters, and the height is 187 centimeters, so the corridor can be easily walked through. "The inner tube" is a unique tourist attraction of Lodz, in addition, the first of its kind in the country. In the museum you can see an exhibition, showing photos of the work done during the construction of the water supply system, tools and other accessories; the exhibition was prepared by Robert Kuśmirowski as part of the "Canal" project. The place is really worth a visit - the atmosphere is unique, and the old corridors carry a lot of interesting stories, which are told by the guides.
