Arek - 27.10.2009A Miniature Park of Lower Silesian Monuments has been established in Kowary, on the grounds of a carpet factory. The aim of this project is to create a tourist attraction, as well as a center ofum of information of the euroregion. Visitors to this Park have the opportunity to get acquainted with historical objects such as palaces, monasteries, churches, old towns of Lower Silesian cities, etc., accurately reproduced in l:25 scale. The information of the guides, as well as descriptions of the past of the objects, acquaint visitors with their historical values. The models are made by the latest technical methods, with weather-resistant materials, which makes it possible to exhibit these models in a park-like setting. The greenery, natural surroundings, as well as the filigree restoration of details, greatly enhance the already beautiful monuments of our region. At the moment, the following miniature monuments are ready: 1. the Palace and summer residence of the Prussian Kings in Mysłakowice 2. the Church of the Prussian Kings in Mysłakowice 3. the "Wang" Temple 4. the Hunting Palace in Bożków 5. the Gerhard Hauptmann House 6. the Old Town of Jelenia Góra 7. the Church of St. Maternus in Lubomierz 8. the Town Hall and townhouses of Lubomierz 9. the Palace in Łomnica 10.
