It includes a unique surface monument - the Kostrzyn fortress, destroyed in 1945 and not rebuiltThe Old Town along with the buildings of the 16th-century bastion fortress. One of the bastions - Bastion Philip - has been equipped with a multimedia exhibition presenting selected aspects of the history of the city and the garrison from the beginning of the fortress and the war struggles waged in the area over the centuries.
