Hrčava, Istebna and Čierne are places where the borders of three countries - the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia - converge. The confluence point of the three borders is located in an 8 and wide deepim on a 34 m gorge of the stream and is the center of a circle described on the vertices of an isosceles triangle. The vertices of the triangle are formed by granite monoliths 240 cm high. During their construction on 22.6.1995, commemorative documents - various documents, newspapers and coins of the time - closed in metal sleeves were inserted into the bases of the monoliths.
