Attractive at. - 20.07.2019A place dedicated to the Great Man was created in Inwald - a small town near Wadowice. The garden is located among the hills of Beskid Mały. It is here, on 3 hectares ofh spreads a painting depicting the figure of John Paul II. Trees, shrubs and flowers play the main role in the Garden. They paint a vivid picture depicting the figure of the Polish Pope, the Basilica of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Wadowice and St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. The figure in the center of the painting is based on a photograph by Arturo Mari, John Paul II's personal photographer. It shows a thoughtful, but above all serene Pope. You can also see a man who was able to unite people with his smile. The Garden also features excerpts from the book "Flowers of John Paul II". Janusz Poniewierski. It is an interesting attempt to show the sanctity of the Polish Pope by means of funny and sometimes touching events from his life. The hero of this book is a man of flesh and blood, pious and endowed with an extraordinary sense of humor. Someone who, while being the Pope, remained himself.
