On the southern shore of the reservoir lies - the fourth largest city in the Warmian-Masurian province - Ilawa. Numerous beaches and bathing areas have also been marked out on the lake shore. Anglers will not be disappointed either. The reservoir abounds in pike, carp, tench and carp, among others. • It is obscenely long, narrow, with numerous branches and islands. The longest lake in Poland is 27.4km long and has an area of 3460 hectares. It is home to more than a dozenislands, of which Wielka Żuława, with an area of 86.4 hectares, is also the largest inland island in Poland. This unusual body of water is favored by kayakers and sailors. Jeziorak, because of its shape and high shores, is famous for its downright perfect winds. The prestigious World Championship of Floating Models and numerous sailing regattas are held here. It is a typically trough lake. It is surrounded by the Iława Lake District Landscape Park.
