The largest island of Lake Jeziorak, it is also the largest inland, lake island of Poland. Its area is about 0.82 square kilometers. The island lies within the administrative boundaries of theych of the city of Ilawa. The island has a permanent ferry connection to the mainland. There are resorts here for holidaymakers who want to relax close to nature. Here, too, are the remains of a fortified settlement built by Prussian peoples. The times of its splendor were the 13th century. The island was used for the filming of the 1974 movie: The Nest.
