The church, dedicated to the N.M.P. Mother Church, was built in the late Gothic style in 1560, with an empora and south porch from 1706 and a sacristy from 1717. Until 1945 it was a churchEvangelical church, severely damaged in 1944, rebuilt only in the 1980s. After completion of reconstruction in 1992, established as a concathedral.
