The castle consists of two horseshoe-shaped parts, facing each other and connected by one of the wings. The upper castle has three stories, while the lower has two. In the upperparts stand two towers, there is also a tower in neo-Gothic style in the northern wing. The castle's buildings are not symmetrically located. The whole has an irregular spatial layout with an open courtyard. The current appearance contains features of both defensive and residential architecture. Surrounding the castle is an 18th-century, 17-hectare park, which includes a pond and an orangery. Also preserved are fragments of the city walls connected to the castle.
