TAFLA is considered one of the most modern ice rinks in Poland. Physical education classes for students of the Silesian University of Technology are conducted at the facility. Eveningrami and on weekends there are public slides. Since 2005, the second discipline present at the rink is curling. It is currently the only facility in Poland equipped with permanent curling lanes, full equipment for this discipline and instructor care.
