24.08.2014The church in which the film "Father Matthew" was shot. The church in Glinianka is wooden. It was built in 1763 on the site of the original church, which was built pProbably in the 16th century. Next to the church is a historic bell tower from the 18th century. In 1883 two vestries were added: a brick one and a wooden one. The church has a three-nave log structure. The chancel, which is smaller than the nave, is closed by trilateral side vestries. The church's roof is of double-palice (higher over the nave and lower over the chancel), with a slender quadrilateral turret - the signature tower (it has a place to house the smallest of the church's bells). The entire roof is covered with sheet metal. The porch is located in the front and on the side of the nave. The ceiling is flat in the nave. The interior of the Glinianka church is divided by two pairs of columns. The place where the church nave meets the chancel, the so-called rainbow beam, has a late Gothic crucifix from the second half of the 16th century attached to it. The interior decoration is folk in character and dates from the 19th century. Paintings from the 18th century hang in the church. In addition, the church has a wooden bell tower with a post and frame structure from the mid-18th century.
