Ełckie Lake - a lake in Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeship, Elk County, Elk, located in the Elk Lake District Lake Ełckie is one of the 120 largest and 8 most ggPoland's deepest lakes. The lake is surrounded by the buildings of the city of Elk and the villages of Chruściele and Barany, as well as by farmland. The main sources of water pollution are the city of Elk, agricultural fields and recreational areas located along the eastern shore of the lake. The shores are mostly low and forestless. A short stream from Lake Sunowo flows in from the west, while a stream from the nearby Lake Szarek flows in from the southern side. The narrowing splits the lake into two parts: northern (Small Elckie) and southern (Large Elckie). On the island, connected by bridges and a road, there is a Teutonic castle. The Elk River flows through the lake, flowing into the middle part of the lake and flowing out of the southwestern spit. The reservoir is connected to the northwest with Lake Sunowo, and to the southwest with Lake Szarek. The bowl of the lake is shaped like a boomerang.
