Lake Resko is connected to the sea by a 1300m-long canal, through which, at the so-called backflow, salty water from the sea pours into the lake, so there are species of fish char.acteristic for both fresh and salt water, such as roach, bream, eel, pike, zander, perch, tench , carp and others. The lake has a circular shape and is divided into two parts, a large and shallow one on the eastern side, and a small and deeper one on the western side. Resko is a paradise for ornithologists, there is a habitat for waterfowl. You can meet almost all the ducks found in Poland, observe grebes, cranes, reed warblers, and mute swans. Attractions include sculptures that give a peculiar atmosphere to the shoreline, Devil's Wigwam, where bonfires are lit in the evening. On the very shore of the lake are located water stations, where we can rent not only a sailboat or water bike, but also rowboats useful for anglers. Resko Lake should definitely be visited by lovers of relaxation with a fishing rod. Dźwirzyno has a modern fishing port, a windsurfing and yachting marina, as well as a marina for a pleasure boat sailing on the sea.
