Podgórze was known as early as the beginning of the 15th century. An iron forge was located here, mentioned in 1408 as the property of Duszniki. Iron ore was mined near it. LaterMineral springs were discovered in the village, which became the basis for the development of the spa. The most interesting monument is the Baroque chapel, which was built in 1705. Inside the chapel is an altar and a former specialty of many Sudetenland villages - paintings painted on glass. In Podgórze you will also find one of the most beautiful stone crosses in the region. In the area in late May and early June you can see the European creeper, known as the Klodzko Rose, in bloom.
