War cemeteries in Dukla

Feedback

  • War cemeteries from World War I and World War II, are located behind the church and the Bernardine Fathers' monastery. At the entrance a soaring gate, on which there is a plaque commemorating thewa dedicated to Lieutenant Swietochowski, a soldier who was the first to die in Dyer in September 1939. In nameless graves rest soldiers killed in World War I, and in the World War II cemetery in mass graves rest soldiers of the multinational Red Army, Czechoslovak soldiers and Polish soldiers from September 1939.
