Miles of time spent with children.... Except for the hippopotamus room. Along with aromas, I strongly discourage this point of the tour.

With this one dinosaur exhibit it's hard to agree. Recently, complexes with extinct reptiles have been springing up like mushrooms after the rain. The Chorzow zoo may have been the first, maybe jed one of the first, but today it is becoming a poor relative when it comes to these dinosaurs. I live close by, so I'm visiting, because maybe my ticket will in part help this facility get back on its feet and restore itself at least a little. The rope park - a very good idea, although a bit distracting for children from the animals. Out of sentiment I give 4, because it should be 3

It's long since past its glory years, but it's still worth coming here today and visiting the entire park, along with the Planetarium. It's a good idea for a great trip for the whole family.Probably the zoo in Krakow or Gdansk is also nice, but here you feel the specific environment of Upper Silesia.

  • The Silesian Zoological Garden has a very large area of pavilions open to the public, which allows residents of our region to visit even during the zim. All pavilions on the garden's grounds have ramps and railings to allow people with disabilities to visit all pavilions. One of the newest developments at the garden is the creation of a Mini-Zoo. The children's garden allows the youngest to have direct contact with gentle animals under the supervision of zoo staff. The Mini-Zoo is very popular with visitors to the garden. Equally popular among visitors is the Dinosaur Basin, renovated this year, the only such exhibition of extinct reptiles in Europe. A large number of alleys in the garden, among the rich, often exotic greenery, rich catering facilities, the location of the Park and the garden very close to the center of large Silesian agglomerations makes it the only easily accessible place of rest and recreation for many residents of our province. This was, after all, the idea behind the creation of this largest Park in Europe, along with all the institutions located on its territory.
