If you will be around then take some time to stay in Chojnice.It is a nice,well-kept city with a beautiful market square and restored townhouses.Because of the close she neighborhood of Lake Charzykowskie is worth staying longer.I return here every year for several years.
14.02.2010Due to its age and prominence, Chojnice's most important monument is the Church of St. John the Baptist. It was built in the 14th century, on the site of a former wooden church. In about1340 began to erect the chancel and tower, finally the body, the whole was completed in 1360.The monumental three-nave church is built in the Pomeranian Gothic style of red brick, on a foundation of granite boulders, with a quadrangular tower on the west, in which the main portal is located.
