During the day, in a completely new splendor thanks to a major renovation carried out recently, wandering around the fortress we meet a power of attractions.</p> <p> </p> <p>Crossing the gate of the fortress we are transported back in time. The castle crew welcomes all incoming guests in historical costumes. A medieval dance is enticed by Team Ferro Aquilae. The clanking of swords and loud rumble can be heard in the background. It s knightly battles and arrows from hooks.</p> <p> </p> <p>In the courtyard of the lower castle, the armorer is solidly making knightly armor. Could it be that the castle is preparing for a siege? Nearby, a cage of disgrace awaiting convicts and just behind it, stately dykes. And in the dungeon? Once upon a time a prisoner was chained to the walls.... 11.05.2011Admittedly it was raining a bit when I was there but interesting place. The view from the tower is great. I recommend this place to visit as much as possible.
07.08.2010A great attraction, highly recommended. I have been twice before. The entrance to the tower is quite winding and it is hard to pass someone who is just going down.
