THE WATER GATE of the early 14th century, of stone, strengthened for strategic reasons, surmounted by a tower with a crenellation and a pyramidal brick cupola of 1508. The passage of the gate was closedFrom the outside, an iron chained grating. The tower's interior was used to charge a toll to enter the city. It underwent a major renovation in 2012-13.
