    Very good Stay: April 2012

Not a bad garden, but it has the makings of a National Park, where nature rules itself. Here some tree withered, there a pile of leaves lies.... Such a mish-mash of these species plantedOne next to the other is there. I appreciate the effort of the priests, the idea is cool, if it were not for the garden, the dog with a limp leg would not come to Bujakow, except for the locals to visit the church. However, the amount of space in the garden is limited, and perhaps it is better to plant a few species less, and with some clever planning. Cake - very good, prices.... well, judge for yourself when you arrive ;-)

  • The Parish Botanical Garden in Bujaków was established in 1976 by parish priest Jerzy Kempa. The garden was created next to the 15th-century St. Nicholas Church, on the entrustment of thehnia of about 1 hectare. It is planted with 250 species, sometimes very rare species of trees and shrubs. On the other hand, in summer it blooms with almost 4,000 flowers, and nenufars in the pond occupying the central point. The view is truly mind-blowing. Numerous shrines and statues of saints are incorporated into the whole, and in front of one of the wooden gates a much-talked-about maxim "even the smallest puddle reflects the sky" strikes the eye. There is a special place for visitors in the garden, where you can have a great rest in the shade of trees and umbrellas. There is also an opportunity to order coffee and a delicious cake. While in the garden we have the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful, almost unearthly atmosphere that hovers over it. Whoever has been here at least once will certainly be happy to return.Founded in 1976 by Rev. Canon Jerzy Kemp. Many species of shrubs and flowers can be found there. On its territory there is also an antique well from 1604 and one of the few in Silesia penitential crosses from 1681.Attractions of the garden are also: a pond with flowering nenufar, an antique bee barn, an apiary, several chapels, peacocks and decorative chickens. Mass can also be celebrated there. At the back of the garden is a wooden cottage where the priests live.
