Baroque palace, built in 1741-1753 in Brody for Count Brühl. During the Seven Years' War, the palace and its garden were set on fire. However, it suffered the greatest damage during World War II. Today the main palace building is devastated, but protected from further degradation. Its outbuildings, however, have been restored, and there is a hotel and restaurant inside.

  • The palace complex, built in 1741-1753, consisted of a palace, two outbuildings, a palace gate and an orangery. The residence in Brody had - along with the palaces in Warsawand Dresden - was to be a reflection of the power of the first minister of the King of the Republic and Elector of Saxony-August III, Henry Bruhl. Therefore, the count spared no expense and furnished the palace with expensive furniture, tapestries, paintings. The ornament of the palace was a porcelain service , called "swan", consisted of 2200 pieces. Today, partially rebuilt, it is a valuable monument of the Saxon Baroque.
