Located on the southeasternmost tip of Poland Bieszczady are the perfect place to unwind – far away from the hustle and bustle of the cities and close to the nature. Beautiful valleys with river beds compensate rather low altitude of the mountains. The main peaks of Bieszczady are Tarnica, Halicz, Krzemieniec. It would be worth it to stop in a small town called Baligród when in the area. The town delights with its monuments such as an Orthodox church and a military cemetery from the XVth century. The biggest artificial lake Zalew Soliński is also a must.
