Vransko jezero (Vransko Lake) is the largest natural lake in Croatia. It is a freshwater lake, in some places only one kilometar away from the Adratic Sea. It is rich in fish and birds, which makes it a heaven for ornithologists (250 different bird species that are rare and / or endangered) and nature lovers. A 30 km long trail leads around the lake is perfect for cycling or just walking and enjoying the beauty. The path leads past various viewpoints. It is a perfect tourist destination.
